Analyze platforms, partner integrations, data capabilities, and system architecture to guide product strategy. Own the roadmap and backlog, write requirements and acceptance criteria, lead technical discovery, define metrics, and develop business cases and executive recommendations. Partner with engineering, architecture, distribution, actuarial, and external organizations to align priorities, resolve trade-offs, and support delivery of a new annuity and retirement technology platform.

Provide hands-on technical leadership for a new financial services platform supporting product rules, calculation services, APIs, and safe AI-agent interfaces. Design and deliver production software, guide architecture, establish testing and CI/CD practices, build controls for accuracy and auditability, coordinate AI coding agents, investigate incidents, and mentor engineers. The role requires cloud-native distributed systems expertise, strong software engineering skills, and experience in regulated environments.

Serves as a liaison between Finance and IT by gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, mapping data, documenting solutions, supporting QA/UAT, managing defects, and assisting with financial application enhancements. The role supports platforms such as Oracle, Workday, and Hyperion; evaluates impacts across accounting, payments, commissions, and ledger processes; maintains JIRA documentation; and identifies process improvements using critical thinking and AI fluency.
