Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs

The Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs (AMC) is a political organization representing 63 First Nations in Manitoba. Formed in 1988, its mandate is to serve as a unified forum to advance the collective interests of Manitoba First Nations while respecting each Nation's right to self-determination. AMC represents over 172,000 First Nation citizens, taking direction from the Chiefs-in-Assembly.
