Designs and integrates marine electrical, automation, control, instrumentation, and power systems for Rotor Sail propulsion technology. Responsibilities include PLC, HMI, and VFD integration; technical documentation; vessel integration; classification compliance; vendor evaluation; commissioning; sea trials; troubleshooting; and technical support. Requires marine electrical engineering experience, PLC programming, shipboard power systems knowledge, CAD familiarity, and willingness to travel for inspections and commissioning.

Assess and improve rotor sail performance using operational data, analytical methods, CFD, numerical simulation, and Python. The role develops performance assessment plans, predicts fuel savings, investigates technical issues, validates simulations against measurements, evaluates uncertainty, and communicates findings to customers and engineering teams. It also supports CFD studies involving aerodynamics, vessel interactions, rotating and turbulent flows, and design improvement.

Designs, develops, reviews, and commissions marine electrical and control systems for automated Rotor Sails. Responsibilities include specifying PLCs, VFDs, sensors, power distribution, and instrumentation; preparing technical documentation; coordinating UK, China, suppliers, procurement, and production; ensuring IEC and marine classification compliance; supporting vessel integration, commissioning, sea trials, maintenance, and technical troubleshooting. The role also manages electrical engineering personnel and provides on-site or remote support.
