Perform CAD and CAM tasks using engineering and manufacturing software, create machine programs and spreadsheets, support shop operations, interpret blueprints, inspect part geometry, communicate instructions to operators, and report nonconforming products. The role requires multitasking across changing projects, precision measurement, understanding shop processes, and flexibility for overtime and variable shifts. Travel may be required for training.

Supervise first-shift metal fabrication production, including workforce scheduling, work assignments, safety, quality, output, cost, and delivery. Coach and evaluate employees, address performance and personnel issues, coordinate training, investigate incidents, maintain production records, monitor equipment condition, submit maintenance requests, and implement process improvements and cost reductions. The supervisor also coordinates with other departments and reports product nonconformities.

Operate saw, bending, welding and milling equipment; set up jobs using job packets; adjust dies, angles, stops and tension; inspect parts to specifications; troubleshoot and consult supervisor/quality; maintain safety, quality, and productivity in a metal forming environment.

Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes; create detailed CAD drawings; support production troubleshooting and process optimization; participate in PFMEA/DFMEA, PPAP submissions, time studies, and transitions from prototype to production. Collaborate with design, quality, and customer engineering teams.

Supervises manufacturing production teams, assigns daily work, manages schedules, and monitors safety, quality, cost, delivery, and output. Responsibilities include employee coaching and discipline, training, equipment readiness, incident investigation, production reporting, process improvement, maintenance coordination, and enforcing workplace safety and quality standards. The role also supports cost reduction, throughput improvements, and cross-department coordination.
