Develop and improve fabrication and sheet metal manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include welding assessments, time studies, process documentation, plant and work-cell layouts, NPI support, DFM/DFMEA activities, Lean continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, tooling and equipment support, capacity analysis, and production troubleshooting. The role collaborates with engineering, quality, operations, and production teams to improve safety, quality, efficiency, capacity, and cost.

Perform CAD and CAM tasks using engineering and manufacturing software, create machine programs and spreadsheets, support shop operations, interpret blueprints, inspect part geometry, communicate instructions to operators, and report nonconforming products. The role requires multitasking across changing projects, precision measurement, understanding shop processes, and flexibility for overtime and variable shifts. Travel may be required for training.

Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes; create detailed CAD drawings; support production troubleshooting and process optimization; participate in PFMEA/DFMEA, PPAP submissions, time studies, and transitions from prototype to production. Collaborate with design, quality, and customer engineering teams.
