Leads Amref Kenya’s communications strategy, reputation, media relations, advocacy, thought leadership, digital channels, donor visibility, storytelling, brand governance and internal communications. Advises senior leadership, manages crisis and misinformation responses, builds stakeholder and media relationships, produces strategic content, develops staff communications capacity, and supervises communications personnel, budgets, agencies and service providers. The role measures communications outcomes including trust, message alignment, audience engagement, advocacy impact and ethical-content compliance.

Coordinates implementation of the Horizon 1000 AI-enabled clinical decision support project across three Kenyan counties. Responsibilities include work planning, budget and risk tracking, partner and sub-grantee coordination, stakeholder and government engagement, co-design, facility rollout, regulatory and data governance support, monitoring and evaluation, and documenting implementation learning for a national AI deployment playbook and scaling framework.
