Responsibilities include preparing legal documents, electronic court filings, docket and deadline management, discovery coordination, case-file organization, trial preparation, vendor scheduling, and communication with courts, opposing counsel, claims professionals, experts, and vendors. The role also ensures compliance with court rules, protects confidential information, and supports efficient legal department operations.

Manages moderately complex Florida workers’ compensation defense matters through all litigation phases, including strategy, discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, appeals, and settlement. Conducts legal research, develops defense strategies, prepares witnesses and evidence, advises clients and claims professionals, and collaborates with Claims to achieve favorable outcomes. Maintains ethical, regulatory, and corporate compliance while managing caseloads efficiently and participating in continuing legal education.
