Picks up and delivers patient specimens, supplies, materials, mail, and paperwork between facilities and clients. Maintains scheduled routes, operates and inspects an assigned vehicle safely, completes required documentation, monitors delivery communications, and provides professional customer service. The role requires a valid driver’s license, frequent travel, physical handling of items under 50 pounds, flexibility for weekends and holidays, and exposure to varied weather and bodily fluids.

Manage daily operations of a high-volume clinical laboratory, including staff leadership, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, staffing, budgeting, inventory, productivity, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and clients to deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality patient testing services. Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention while ensuring compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, HIPAA, and accreditation standards.

Performs microbiology laboratory testing across pre- and post-analytic phases, prepares specimens, records and interprets results, follows laboratory and safety procedures, maintains equipment and work areas, researches relevant topics, and provides administrative support.

Manage and grow client accounts within a designated territory for long-term care facilities. Serve as primary client contact for retention, issue resolution, compliance, and reporting. Attend meetings, perform in-services, represent the company at events, track market trends, and collaborate with sales team. Use CRM and MS Office, maintain client documentation, and complete special projects as assigned.

Perform a full range of clinical laboratory testing (hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, automated chemistry, immunology), report results to physicians, follow CLIA personnel responsibilities, perform QC, instrument maintenance, troubleshoot and document corrective actions, and manage inventory.

Manage day-to-day operations of a high-volume clinical laboratory, lead and mentor lab staff, ensure regulatory compliance (CLIA/CAP/OSHA/HIPAA), oversee quality assurance and proficiency testing, manage budgets, staffing, inventory, and drive continuous improvement to deliver accurate, timely patient testing services.
