Manage and retain a portfolio of large merchant accounts, serving as their strategic business partner. Analyze performance and KPIs, provide actionable insights, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, negotiate commercial outcomes, and collaborate with Sales, Onboarding, Training, Support, Product, and Engineering. Represent merchant feedback internally while helping clients maximize conversion, turnover, and basket size.

Own and evolve Alma’s revenue systems architecture, with Salesforce as the core CRM and Gong, Aircall, Looker, SQL, and automation tools integrated around it. Translate business needs into scalable systems, processes, governance, and roadmap decisions. Partner with Revenue, Finance, Data, Product, and Engineering teams to improve data quality, reporting, automation, and operational efficiency across markets and sales motions.

Lead complex enterprise sales cycles for Alma’s payment solutions, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close. Build pipelines across the French market, develop ROI-driven business cases, manage RFPs, engage senior decision-makers, and coordinate cross-functional teams. Maintain Salesforce pipeline accuracy, provide forecasts, share market intelligence, and help improve Alma’s enterprise sales strategy.

Own Alma’s Germany business, including country P&L, revenue growth, local go-to-market strategy, enterprise and mid-market sales, and partner ecosystem development. Build, hire, coach, and lead the local sales team while managing strategic enterprise opportunities. Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with Marketing, Partnerships, Product, Legal, Risk, and Operations, represent Alma externally, and develop key merchant and C-level relationships.

Drive mid-market growth in Italy by researching markets, generating and converting leads, managing the sales pipeline, negotiating contracts, closing new business, and building strategic partnerships. The role includes competitor analysis, tailored solution development, collaboration with Sales and Marketing, industry networking, performance reporting, and strategy optimization. The position is based in Milan with a hybrid schedule and occasional travel to Paris.

Manage and convert high-volume inbound leads into SMB customer partnerships in Italy. Qualify prospects, conduct needs assessments, demonstrate Alma’s payment platform, guide prospects through onboarding, maintain CRM records, track funnel performance, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to improve conversion strategies and messaging.

Own and grow strategic partnerships with fintech, e-commerce, and point-of-sale companies. Develop expansion strategies, negotiate contracts, lead cross-functional initiatives, coordinate launches, define performance metrics, enable partners, and execute joint go-to-market programs. Serve as the primary relationship owner while identifying new opportunities and driving revenue growth across existing partnerships.

Lead Alma’s Legal function and legal strategy across financial services, commercial contracts, corporate matters, regulatory risk, transactions, disputes, and international expansion. Serve as Data Protection Officer, overseeing GDPR compliance, privacy governance, DPIAs, data-subject rights, and regulatory engagement. Advise executive leadership and cross-functional teams, manage external counsel and legal budgets, and build scalable legal processes while leading and developing the Legal team.

Lead and grow the Alma Wallet engineering squad, including hiring, mentoring, delivery processes, and cross-functional collaboration. Drive a strategic payment roadmap spanning cards, mobile wallets, local payment methods, identity verification, and Open Banking. Maintain technical quality and reliability through code reviews, architecture discussions, and resilient payment flows across mobile and backend systems.

Build and maintain trusted data models, semantic layers, quality tests, documentation, and lineage using dbt and BigQuery. Improve data governance, reliability, discoverability, performance, and cost across business domains. Create reusable data assets, mentor analysts, contribute to the GCP, BigQuery, Argo, dbt, and Looker roadmap, participate in code reviews, define analytics engineering standards, and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.

Translate market, buyer, regulatory, technology, and competitive insights into sales arguments, case studies, pitch frameworks, ROI presentations, battle cards, and enablement content. Train revenue teams through pitch clinics and role plays, track asset adoption, and improve field usage. Build AI agents and automated workflows using Dust and LLMs for market monitoring, content auditing, generation, and contextual content delivery.

Investigate suspicious transactions and fraud alerts, review identity and document verification results, perform KYC/KYB and AML/CFT controls, screen PEP and sanctions lists, and make decisions to approve, block, or request documents. The role also conducts quality checks, reports emerging fraud trends, improves control processes, and collaborates with fraud, AML, and customer operations teams. Strong French and English writing skills are required.

Own an end-to-end portion of Alma’s P&L, including business planning, recurring analysis, pricing, unit economics, contribution margins, and Board deliverables. Partner with commercial, product, and operations teams to guide decisions, support major deals, and challenge performance assumptions. Build and maintain financial models while developing AI-assisted workflows for pricing, COGS, business planning, and recurring reporting.

Lead architecture and code quality for payment plugins across six major e-commerce platforms. Establish PHP patterns, testing and linting standards, conduct code reviews, improve test coverage, harmonize cross-platform conventions, and mentor intermediate engineers. The role combines hands-on backend development, technical direction, continuous improvement, and collaboration with AI development tools. It is a permanent position based in Paris or remotely from Metropolitan France.

Own Alma’s integrations and partnerships product strategy across APIs, SDKs, CMS, PSPs, and custom integrations. Lead roadmap prioritization, discovery, and delivery of complex platform features while balancing merchant outcomes, technical quality, enterprise needs, and developer experience. Collaborate with partners and cross-functional teams, and measure adoption, integration speed, reliability, authentication quality, and transaction growth.

Design and develop Python backend APIs and payment infrastructure serving merchants and consumers across Europe. Build secure, maintainable, high-performance systems, evolve technical architecture with Product and technology leaders, and lead incident response and performance improvements. The role requires ownership of reliability at scale within a regulated fintech environment.

Manage Alma’s Identity & Tooling team and define its identity and access management strategy. Lead RBAC design, identity lifecycle processes, provisioning and deprovisioning, access governance, application ownership, access reviews, and privileged access controls. Establish tooling standards, documentation, approval workflows, dashboards, and KPIs while coordinating with IT, Security, Engineering, People, Finance, Legal, and business teams to improve security, compliance, operational efficiency, and employee experience.

Build business-facing data models and reliable data pipelines using CRM, revenue, and operational data. Analyze markets, commercial performance, and growth drivers; create dashboards, KPIs, forecasts, and decision-support tools; and provide actionable recommendations to Revenue leaders. Promote data quality and data-informed practices across Marketing, Partnerships, Sales, and Account Management while collaborating with Data, Product, Technology, Operations, and Risk teams.
