The CMA will assist in clinical and administrative procedures, prepare patients for exams, take histories and vital signs, and maintain patient confidentiality.

Provides administrative support to the electrophysiology/Cardiac Rhythm team: tracks device inventory, manages PaceArt and home monitor databases, updates schedules, coordinates off-campus device clinics, educates patients and families, and maintains patient records and clinic flow.

Provide full perioperative nursing care in the Cath Lab/PACU including pre/intra/post procedure care, monitoring, EKG/hemodynamic interpretation, sterile setups, radiation safety, image acquisition, patient/family communication, documentation, and participation in QA and staff training.

Provides direct patient care in an electrophysiology/cardiology clinic: prepares exam rooms, obtains histories and vitals, performs EKGs and treadmill tests, administers treatments/medications per orders, documents and reports patient status, schedules tests, provides patient education, maintains records, and supports clinic operations.

Provide professional nursing care in Imaging Services: screen patients pre-test, administer prescribed medications and treatments, prioritize emergencies, maintain confidentiality, and perform general nursing duties as assigned.

Schedule and coordinate electrophysiology appointments and procedures, answer hotline calls, review patient orders in the EMR, manage prior authorizations, coordinate surgical vendors and equipment, provide basic preoperative instructions, and ensure consents are signed and uploaded to patient charts.

Provide direct patient care and clinical/administrative support in an electrophysiology clinic under physician supervision: prepare rooms, take histories and vitals, assist with EKGs and treadmill tests, administer treatments, document patient status, schedule tests, educate patients, and maintain patient flow and confidentiality.

Provide professional nursing care in a heart failure clinic: prepare equipment, assist physicians, document patient conditions and test results, administer ordered medications, maintain records and confidentiality, and perform patient education and related duties.

Provide professional nursing care in a clinic setting: prepare equipment, assist physicians with exams and procedures, observe and report patient condition and responses, maintain patient records and confidentiality, chart test results and patient education, and perform other duties as assigned.

Lead development and implementation of strategic and grant-funded population health initiatives. Translate leadership priorities into scalable programs, align funding and operations, manage cross-functional partnerships, monitor outcomes, support launches, and build community and health system relationships to drive high-performing, sustainable care models.

The Scheduling Specialist coordinates patient appointments, handles calls, reviews orders, and maintains communication with patients and providers to ensure efficient operations.

The Certified Medical Assistant prepares patients for examinations, takes histories and vital signs, assists with basic procedures, and maintains patient confidentiality.
