Provide bilingual (Japanese/English) executive and HR administrative support for ADVICS North America, coordinating expat onboarding, immigration and relocation, managing personnel records, translating documents, supporting the President, processing HR invoices via Concur, and maintaining pool vehicle records.

Support OEM development of automotive brake subsystems by coordinating engineering activities, schedules, testing, and supplier launches. Assist cross-functional teams, track engineering changes and risks, prepare reports and meeting documentation, and provide basic technical support for quoting and customer activities. Hybrid role with some lab and travel responsibilities.

Support design and development of brake systems through project coordination, mechanical 3D CAD design, CAE simulation and model-based design, prototyping and evaluation, customer and supplier support, benchmarking, and manufacturing support. Involves travel, presentations, and occasional hands-on work in test labs and plant floors.

Inspect and test components and products, interpret engineering drawings, record and analyze data, respond to Andon calls, perform dimensional and mechanical tests, prepare charts, and support continuous improvement on the manufacturing floor.

Lead and maintain EHS programs at a manufacturing facility: enforce safety rules, deliver trainings, conduct incident investigations and ISO 14001 internal audits, manage environmental compliance (OSHA, EPA, DOT), maintain records and metrics, administer workers' compensation, and drive carbon-reduction and hazard-control initiatives.

Support development of quality systems, supplier process improvement, and internal manufacturing quality. Create sampling plans, evaluate test equipment accuracy, manage discrepant material disposition, compile training, lead quality testing activities, and apply APQP/PPAP/FMEA/IATF16949, SPC, MSA, DOE and GD&T practices.

Develop and maintain quality control processes for automotive brake manufacturing. Conduct inspections and testing, perform root cause analysis, manage supplier quality, support new product launches, drive continuous improvement, analyze warranty/customer feedback, and produce quality metrics and reports to meet regulatory and customer requirements.

Supervise evening-shift production (20–30 operators), manage scheduling, training, performance reviews, and adherence to safety, quality, productivity, and 5S. Meet production schedules, resolve abnormal conditions, drive continuous improvement, and communicate across the organization.

Translate and interpret between Japanese and English for meetings, documents, and visitors. Produce and edit translated written materials, use CAT tools and Microsoft Office, support management and multiple departments, and maintain confidentiality while conveying legal, technical, and colloquial language accurately.

Designs and implements cost-effective manufacturing processes, leads process improvements, supports new product launches, creates process documentation (PFMEA, Process Flow), and trains production teams to improve quality and efficiency.
