The EHS Specialist maintains workplace safety and environmental compliance in a manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include conducting audits, inspections, incident investigations, hazard assessments, emergency response planning, safety training, recordkeeping, workers’ compensation coordination, ISO 14001 support, and corrective-action follow-up. The role collaborates cross-functionally to improve safety culture, reduce workplace risks, and maintain regulatory compliance with OSHA and applicable state requirements.

Supports the introduction and improvement of manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, equipment, and production documentation. Develops cost estimates, process instructions, PFMEAs, capital requests, and manufacturing changes. Troubleshoots production, equipment, and quality issues while collaborating with Quality, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and suppliers. Provides process training, supports safety and ergonomics initiatives, participates in Kaizen and value engineering activities, and assists with drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

Leads strategic HR initiatives including workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, leadership development, succession planning, employee relations, organizational culture, and employment compliance. Partners with organizational leaders to align people strategies with business goals, improve retention and workforce stability, and build organizational capability.
