Coordinates pre-employment screening and onboarding activities for new hires. Responsibilities include reviewing background checks, scheduling drug screens and physicals, verifying credentials, organizing orientations, collecting documentation, tracking outstanding personnel records, sharing benefits information, answering inquiries, and supporting HR projects. The role works closely with recruiting, management, and new employees to ensure accurate and timely completion of onboarding requirements.

Screens non-emergency ambulance and wheelchair transport requests for medical necessity, verifies insurance and patient information, obtains prior authorizations, and secures payment when guidelines are not met. Provides customer service to patients and billing guidance to operations and business development teams while maintaining confidentiality, productivity standards, and compliance with medical necessity requirements. The role is office-based, phone-intensive, and includes rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Provides service desk and desktop support by troubleshooting hardware, software, access, and application issues; installing systems; resolving and documenting help requests; assisting employees remotely, by phone, email, and onsite; creating technical documentation; and translating business requirements into technical solutions. The intern must pursue computer-related education, obtain ITF+ and A+ certifications, understand HIPAA, and travel to company locations as needed.
