The Head of Central Operations is responsible for leading operational systems, team management, driver onboarding, support, and automation to drive organizational growth at 8Fleet.

Manage high-volume weekly and semi-monthly payroll, including wage compliance, taxes, deductions, garnishments, reconciliations, and issue resolution. Administer employee benefits, open enrollment, audits, and vendor integrations. Support onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, HRIS data maintenance, compliance, background checks, and performance documentation for a growing frontline workforce.

Design, implement, and scale total rewards and talent management programs for field and corporate employees. Own compensation, benefits, incentives, performance management, career frameworks, succession planning, analytics, and cross-functional workforce planning to attract, retain, and develop talent.

Own driver scheduling, attendance, and workforce utilization across the West Region. Monitor utilization and attendance, perform proactive outreach (calls/texts/emails), recover missed shifts, issue attendance coaching, maintain workforce KPI reporting, and build/optimize automated communication workflows and AI-enabled tooling. Partner with cross-functional teams to align labor supply with demand and continuously improve scheduling processes.

Lead and scale Los Angeles fleet operations including driver recruitment/onboarding, scheduling, dispatch, maintenance, compliance, safety audits, and performance analysis. Own financial and operational KPIs, implement cost-effective strategies to maximize profitability, provide driver training/support, and partner cross-functionally to grow the business.
