Benefits options include on-site childcare centers, daycare discounts or backup childcare solutions for unexpected circumstances. Companies With Daycare

Trupanion is a pet insurance provider offering coverage plans for dogs and cats. The company’s Seattle headquarters has onsite childcare for children from one month to four years old. The daycare center is independently operated, but Trupanion covers the cost of care, while employees are only responsible for paying taxes on the value of that employee benefit.

 

Johnson & Johnson is a pharmaceutical company with a global workforce of more than 150,000 employees. The company established the Johnson & Johnson Childcare Development Center at its New Brunswick, New Jersey headquarters in 1990. It has since opened multiple additional U.S. childcare centers to make early education and preschool accessible to employees at a subsidized cost. The centers are open to babies through children five years old. Johnson & Johnson said it also has childcare centers at some of its international sites and provides discounted childcare options to employees in at least six of the countries where the company operates.

Whirlpool manufactures home appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves and ovens. Whirlpool employees are able to bring their children to The Eddy, a childcare center operated at the company’s global headquarters in Benton Harbor, Michigan. They also get discounted rates for KinderCare Education locations throughout the United States.

 

Aflac is an insurance provider with coverage plans for individuals, families and business owners. Its offerings include accident insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance and critical illness insurance. The company provides on-site daycare at its headquarters in Columbus, Georgia. Employees also have the option of taking advantage of a daycare subsidy provided by Aflac.

 

Valero operates 15 petroleum refineries across three different countries, and produces low-carbon renewable fuels made from recycled goods like animal fat and cooking oil. Employees who work out of Valero’s San Antonio, Texas headquarters are able to use the campus’ childcare center, which the company says is licensed and has accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

Biotechnology company Recursion developed its Recursion Operating System to extract insights from biological and chemical datasets in order to enhance the process of discovering new drugs and therapies to treat various diseases. In 2021, Recursion partnered with education and childcare provider Bright Horizons to open a childcare center at a site next to its Salt Lake City, Utah headquarters.
