Arrow Electronics is a global hardware manufacturer that develops semiconductors and components for several different applications. Its hardware play a vital role in products like sensors and digital displays. The company also works with other global manufacturers to expand its production capabilities.

Broadcom develops semiconductors used in telecommunications products like internet modems and network storage systems. The company is headquartered in Silicon Valley but has offices in the U.K. and elsewhere in Asia. Broadcom also develops bespoke software and hardware solutions for industries including financial services, data centers and government entities.

In operation since the 1960s, Intel is one of the top semiconductor manufacturers in the market. The company develops processors for all types of electronics including AI systems, network storage and, most notably, consumer computers and laptops. In the U.K., Intel has been hard at work making advancements to an AI supercomputer called Dawn.

Pragmatic is developing low-cost semiconductor technology to revolutionize the industry. Its processors are made of thin film instead of the traditional silicon foundation, resulting in faster production. To meet the frantic demand for semiconductors, Pragmatic also offers Fab-as-a-Service, or FaaS, where businesses can rent processors for their specific projects.

Icera develops semiconductors for software modem, commonly known as softmodem, products that operate by connecting to a host computer. Its processors can deliver high-power performance and also power USB sticks and mobile internet devices.
