Chris Walters has been appointed the new president and CEO of Pluralsight, a technology workforce development company. Walters brings over two decades of leadership experience to the team. He will take over for Aaron Skonnard, the company’s co-founder and former CEO, who will transition into the role of special advisor.
Before joining Pluralsight, Walters was CEO of wealth management company Avantax. His previous roles include senior partner at Activate, CEO of Encompass Digital Media and COO of The Weather Company and Bloomberg Industry Verticals Group. Walters has also held various advisory roles for technology, media and investment companies.
Pluralsight’s workforce development platform helps individuals and businesses build critical skills. It offers expert-authored courses on a range of technologies, including cloud, artificial intelligence, data science and security. It also provides tools for skill development, virtual training, hands-on labs, skill assessments and analytics to help organizations align learning with business objectives and drive growth.
