Guild and Team USA have announced a five-year partnership aimed at helping Olympic and Paralympic athletes transition to new careers after their athletic careers. The partnership will provide athletes with access to education and career development opportunities through Guild’s learning marketplace.
Eligible athletes will have access to tuition-free programs offered by providers including Purdue Global for degree programs and eCornell for professional development courses. Guild, as an official education, skilling and career mobility provider of Team USA and LA28, will offer personalized one-on-one coaching to support athletes throughout their transition.
The partnership recognizes that athletes are often challenged when training for the Olympic and Paralympic Games since it can require postponing education and career development. Guild’s goal is to help athletes leverage the skills they developed in sports to open new doors and pursue high-demand courses and career paths.
