Summary: Even as mobile banking reshapes how customers manage their money, major banks continue to invest in their branch networks. U.S. Bank, Truist, Fifth Third and Huntington are among the banks hiring frontline bank teller roles offering competitive pay and benefits.

As banks grow through acquisitions and new branches, bank tellers are the people who keep local banking personal. They handle everyday transactions, answer account questions and build customer relationships face-to-face. Tellers cash checks, accept deposits and disburse withdrawals, and they also refer customers to products such as checking accounts, credit cards and loans. Although mobile banking and automation are weakening demand for traditional teller roles, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics still projects a regular churn of 26,800 openings annually through 2035. Below are some of the top names actively hiring frontline branch representatives with cash handling experience and sharp customer service skills.
