Coinbase recently introduced several new products and features, including the integration of stock and ETF trading directly into its primary application, with stocks offered via Coinbase Capital Markets. This update will allow U.S. users to manage traditional securities alongside digital assets 24 hours a day, five days a week. The company also began rolling out prediction markets, enabling users to trade on the outcomes of real-world events like elections and sports, with prediction markets offered by Coinbase Financial Markets.
The expansion includes the unveiling of Coinbase Advisor, an AI-powered tool designed to assist users with financial management and portfolio building. For more crypto-saavy users, the platform integration of a decentralized exchange aggregator will facilitate trading for all Solana-based assets. Additionally, the organization launched Coinbase Business, a financial suite tailored for startups in the U.S. and Singapore, and it includes global payment links and automated workflows.
The company also released the Base App to the public around the world. It functions as a social and transactional platform for onchain content. Planned for 2026, new infrastructure updates include a protocol for stablecoin payments and a platform for institutions to tokenize real-world assets.
