Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • 3 years of experience in enterprise IT and video.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD.
  • Experience managing partnerships.
  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

The Strategic Partner Development Lead for Channel Partnerships will develop and manage key channel partner relationships working with original equipment manufacturers and platform partners. You will be responsible for ensuring partners are enabled and trained through cross-functional and partner resources, manage long-term relationships, and drive pipeline execution with each channel partner as Starline grows its enterprise client base.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google's Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google's own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google's user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Work with original equipment manufacturer and platform partners to develop and implement the appropriate channel partner program both globally and across specific markets.
  • Develop long-term relationships with both executive leaders and operational teams at key channel partners, and evolve and adapt the partnerships over time.
  • Coordinate channel partner co-selling with Google, original equipment manufacturer and platform partner direct sales teams.
  • Develop additional channel programs and channel partnerships as Starline product portfolio expands to additional form factors and use cases. Work with channel partners and their clients to provide integrated feedback to Starline product teams on issues, features, and roadmap.
