Dexcom is seeking a Sales Operations Business Partner to work closely with the sales teams to drive essential business objectives. Your role will involve gaining a deep understanding of the business and local markets, playing a pivotal role in driving sales strategy and effectiveness, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes to enable revenue growth across the organization. Partnership with specific sales organization will be assigned as needed.

Where you come in:

  • Lead Sales Operations strategy and execution within respective sales teams
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to your sales leaders by managing a collaborative operational cadence with commercial leadership that promotes sales force productivity and effectiveness
  • Partner with your sales leaders to support the in-house and field-based organization to maximize sales effectiveness
  • Drive Sales Effectiveness Initiatives within the local markets in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
  • Establish data driven performance management cadence to evaluate business impact of varying initiatives and ongoing business
  • Support day-to-day operational aspects of the business as it relates to key strategic initiatives such as targeting/segmentation plans, business planning, call activity and sampling, etc.
  • Promote opportunity management activities to drive business insights for growth and productivity against performance objectives
  • Support operating mechanisms of meetings and deliverables both within the local markets and to senior leadership
  • Be the conduit of information to your sales teams for operational aspects of the role and to ensure greatest productivity for the sales team
  • Provide ad-hoc analyses that may be needed to help facilitate commercial execution of strategy
  • Form cross-functional partnerships across various teams and functions to share business updates and best practices
  • Collaborate with various departments, including global sales effectiveness, marketing, finance, and operations, to understand business needs and align sales analytics initiatives with overall organizational goals.
  • Support special projects designed to improve commercial performance and/or expand capabilities.
  • Other responsibilities include supporting initiatives that build and expand Dexcom's Sales Operations capabilities.

What makes you successful:

  • Bachelor's degree required, with Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 4-7 years pharmaceutical and/or Medical experience in Revenue/Commercial operations
  • Experience in matrixed organization and influential leadership
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of integrated processes within Sales Operations & Effectiveness
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior level stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of CRM platforms (Veeva/Salesforce/OCE Preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in reporting and data visualization tools (Tableau preferred)
  • Excellent attention to detail with focus on quality control
  • Mastery of Excel and other Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects as well as prioritize multiple competing priorities

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience.
  • At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience
