The role requires knowledge of CBP, FTR, PGA requirements, import documentation, valuation, country of origin, classification, and integrated logistics processes.

Plans materials, production schedules, inventory, and supply chain activities to meet customer demand and delivery commitments. The role requires communication with government customs authorities and includes approximately 10% travel.

Lead global sourcing and supplier account management for machining and surface treatment suppliers. Define commodity strategies, negotiate high-value contracts, mitigate supply risks, drive supplier KPIs, enable NPI readiness, and lead cross-functional, data-driven transformation using SAP/Ariba and analytics.

Develop and execute global logistics sourcing strategies covering transportation, warehousing, crating, packaging, customs brokerage, and related services. Manage sourcing events, supplier relationships, negotiations, contracts, rate optimization, performance measurement, and cost and quality improvement initiatives. Assess supply risks, lead cross-functional global teams, and drive supplier performance and continuous improvement across the logistics supply chain.

Manage regional service parts planning including demand forecasting, inventory control, ramp and contract planning. Develop strategic plans, tools and visualizations (Tableau), lead projects, collaborate with sales/logistics/FSO, track performance, mentor planners, and engage customers to ensure planning effectiveness.

Supports an end-to-end strategic sourcing project to mitigate supply chain risks. Responsibilities include RFQ management, supplier selection, quote comparison, commercial negotiation, process mapping, and following internal award procedures. The intern will analyze data, use Excel and Power BI, engage stakeholders, and develop skills in sourcing, cost analysis, negotiation, and project management.

Supports materials management through supply chain analytics and demand planning across contract manufacturers and suppliers. Analyzes demand signals, forecasts, inventory, component requirements, supply-chain risks, and capacity constraints. Maps supplier ecosystems, consolidates forecasts, and develops insights for demand ramps and supply readiness. Collaborates with planning, procurement, manufacturing, supplier management, contract manufacturers, and suppliers to improve forecasting accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency.
