Manages commercial relationships and procurement activities for assigned indirect categories. Responsibilities include supplier qualification and onboarding, contract and pricing negotiations, sourcing new suppliers, supplier performance evaluations, stakeholder collaboration, cost-saving initiatives, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement. The role also supports spot-buy orders for European technical centers and promotes competitive pricing, quality service, stable supply, and supplier performance.

Manages SAP-enabled logistics activities for new automotive projects, ensuring logistics flows are ready before production launches. Coordinates customer EDI receipt and control processes, purchasing and delivery tracking, supply planning, inventory levels, shipping requests, transportation follow-up, production scheduling, and customer-Magna logistics communication. Works cross-functionally with procurement, customer service, warehouse, shipping, production, suppliers, and customers to prevent launch issues, shortages, and overstock.

Leads sourcing and procurement for automotive platform projects and assigned product areas. Responsibilities include coordinating RFQs, evaluating supplier quotes, supporting customer bids, selecting suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, managing supplier relationships, maintaining cost models, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. The role collaborates with engineering, category management, and supplier quality teams to ensure competitive costs, supply continuity, and successful project execution.

Purchases materials, supplies, and services; solicits and evaluates supplier quotations; develops and manages supplier relationships; resolves delivery, inventory, quality, and cost issues; tracks supplier performance; supports sourcing strategies and continuous improvement; maintains purchasing records and cost databases; and coordinates with internal departments, agents, and customs brokers to ensure reliable, cost-effective supply.

Supervise and optimize warehouse logistics operations, including inventory control, FIFO storage, shipping, export processing, waste disposal, and employee leadership in a multi-shift environment. Coordinate inbound and outbound storage activities, address inventory discrepancies, conduct layered audits, and ensure timely shipment processing. The role requires logistics experience, preferably in automotive manufacturing, strong SAP and MS Office skills, shift-work availability, and technical and leadership capabilities.

Process customer requirements in SAP, purchase and plan materials for just-in-time production, maintain optimal inventory levels, organize material unloading and line replenishment tasks, and collaborate closely with production. The role requires business or technical education, English or German proficiency, SAP and Microsoft Office knowledge, automotive experience, a driving license, and strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.

Support materials and supply chain operations through warehouse rack organization, packaging-ordering process improvements, BOM updates, procedure reviews, and process improvements across shipping, inventory, scheduling, and customer service. Maintain compliance with safety, quality, environmental, CTPAT/PIP, IATF 16949, 5S, and company standards while participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Prepare shipment picklists, analyze customer requirements and releases, monitor demand changes, coordinate customer freight and premium transportation, manage returnable packaging and containers, resolve customer delivery issues, maintain service records, and support OEM and Tier 1 customer requirements. The role also includes weekend and after-hours rotations, compliance with quality and safety standards, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
