The Business Development Executive drives revenue growth by recruiting agents, maximizing sales, and enhancing client relationships in Virginia, requiring extensive travel and communication.

This position is part of a 12-month development program designed to train new originators in the reverse mortgage industry, with an attractive compensation package that includes a base salary plus commission.

Serve as a trusted AI-focused cybersecurity advisor: design pragmatic AI security solutions, drive sales pipeline and proposals, provide thought leadership, collaborate with account/domain teams and partners, identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities, ensure delivery alignment, and evangelize AI security best practices at client and industry events.

Plan, book, staff, and run local home shows and community events to generate qualified leads. Recruit and train event demonstrators, coordinate booths and logistics, track event performance, and work with sales to convert leads. Manage event calendar, negotiate contracts, and handle follow-up and reporting.

Supervise last-mile operations by assigning and monitoring work, training staff on procedures and safety, managing inventory and supplies, resolving performance issues, and ensuring productivity and compliance with equipment and housekeeping standards.

Prepare and review customer contracts and revenue accounting (ASC 606), perform journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly financial analyses, support GAAP and statutory reporting, lead complex studies, recommend process improvements, and manage competing priorities.

Serve as Scrum Master for 2–3 Agile teams: facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, coach teams on agile/Scrum/Kanban practices, track velocity and metrics, maintain process documentation, support backlog refinement and defect prioritization, and drive continuous improvement and team self-organization.

Perform onsite premium audits: schedule appointments, review payroll, sales and cost records, verify business class codes, and interact with policyholders to determine accurate insurance premiums.

Perform heavy outbound B2B prospecting (125–150 dials/day) to partner with real estate agents, generate leads, meet monthly lead-generation and productivity KPIs, use CRM and Microsoft Office, and earn hourly pay plus uncapped commission and bonuses.
