Hands-on Controller to run full accounting function: monthly close, financial reporting, cash forecasting, budgeting, WIP/job costing, lender/investor compliance, ERP migration, and acquisition integration. Own day-to-day cash operations, audits, tax coordination, and board reporting while building scalable processes and systems for a growing, PE-involved platform.

Partnering with the CFO, build models, dashboards, and automations to drive planning, forecasting, revenue operations, pricing, and margin analysis. Own quote-to-cash, revenue recognition, budgeting, and financial systems integrations. Provide strategic analysis, prepare board/investor materials, lead cross-functional initiatives, and mentor junior finance staff to improve efficiency and profitability.

Lead month-end close, prepare financial reports, manage billing/accounts receivable, oversee cash flow and audits, maintain internal controls, support budgeting and forecasting, and partner cross-functionally to improve financial processes and collections.

Lead execution, governance, and improvement of variable compensation programs; oversee calculations, reconciliations, controls, reporting, and integrations for acquisitions; partner with Sales and Finance; lead a team; drive process, system, and automation enhancements; ensure compliance, confidentiality, and audit-ready practices.

Manage and coordinate the companys income tax compliance and strategy, lead tax provision support and nexus/sales tax research, partner with auditors and advisors, advise on tax implications of business initiatives, maintain tax controls and documentation, and provide cross-functional tax guidance to leadership.

Investigate customer and transactional activity to identify suspicious behavior, file SARs and CTRs with regulators, maintain workload and quality standards, handle related customer calls, and support compliance processes.

Serve as a fractional Client CFO for 2-3 distressed DTC/CPG brands, leading cash management, 13-week forecasting, lender/creditor negotiations, restructuring strategy, scenario modeling, and board/investor communications. Build repeatable tools, KPI dashboards, and playbooks; partner with accounting to ensure reporting integrity during high-pressure turnarounds.

Manage assigned customer accounts by monitoring payments, calling and emailing customers, resolving discrepancies, negotiating payment arrangements and credit terms, approving orders, maintaining accurate account records, and supporting business-building and risk-management efforts.

Lead complex tax planning, consulting, and compliance engagements; advise business leaders; review and sign tax returns; build client relationships; mentor and develop tax staff; contribute to business development and practice growth.

Evaluate customer information for BSA/AML compliance, analyze suspicious activity, compile documentation, file SARs, perform currency transaction audits, maintain regulatory knowledge, partner with departments on investigations, and assist with internal control submissions per New Jersey and FinCEN requirements.
