The role ensures adherence to federal requirements, OMB Uniform Guidance, cost principles, and UCAR policies while supporting CPAESS leadership and documenting business processes.

Supports executive leadership with capital planning, strategic investment analysis, business case development, financial modeling, forecasting, ROI and NPV analysis, portfolio prioritization, and performance measurement. Partners cross-functionally to evaluate strategic initiatives, quantify financial and operational benefits, assess risks, and prepare executive recommendations. Creates dashboards and reports, conducts market and regulatory analysis, and translates complex business requirements into actionable investment proposals.

Conduct independent third-line credit risk reviews of complex private credit and commercial lending portfolios. Assess underwriting quality, risk ratings, covenant compliance, collateral, portfolio trends, concentration risks, regulatory adherence, and risk governance. Lead review teams, identify emerging credit weaknesses, produce reports and recommendations, advise senior management, mentor junior reviewers, and support special projects and continuous risk intelligence activities.

Supports RoadieXD financial operations through billing validation, accounts payable tracking, month-end close, reconciliations, forecasting, budgeting, vendor contract analysis, and operating-metric reporting. Investigates discrepancies, analyzes costs and margins, maintains financial trackers, supports rebates and rate-card analysis, and partners with Finance, Accounting, AP, and Operations to improve processes and inform leadership decisions.

Processes scheduled and off-cycle payrolls, enters payroll changes, calculates payroll, validates control totals, and reviews data for accuracy. The specialist responds to client inquiries, manages an assigned book of business, troubleshoots payroll issues, maintains compliance, collaborates with HR, Finance, and Operations, and supports client projects and ongoing training.

Manage multi-state certified payroll operations and prevailing wage compliance for construction and public works projects. Prepare and file weekly Certified Payroll Reports, interpret federal and state wage determinations, calculate fringe benefits and union dues, review subcontractor payroll records, and resolve discrepancies. Serve as the primary contact for labor audits, agency inquiries, and compliance reporting while maintaining audit readiness.

Manage the full accounts payable function, including invoice processing, vendor records, payment coordination, reconciliations, cash reporting, and 1099 preparation. Resolve discrepancies, maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks, support monthly close and audits, and improve AP procedures and internal controls. The role is remote in Georgia with occasional in-person meetings and requires collaboration with vendors, internal teams, and the Financial Controller.

Conducts complex workers’ compensation premium audits by reviewing financial statements, payroll records, policy records, certificates, class codes, and claims activity. Resolves discrepancies with policyholders, agents, underwriters, and internal teams; prepares audit reports; ensures compliance with regulations; and provides customer service. May monitor audit practices, support process improvements, and coach or oversee staff.

Owns Second Line of Defense issue management oversight for the Property and Casualty portfolio. Reviews evidence, validates remediation, assesses risks, identifies trends, reports insights, and provides effective challenge to stakeholders and leadership. The role also supports portfolio analytics, risk reporting, automation, stress testing, and risk policy initiatives. Requires collaboration across risk, compliance, audit, and business teams in a highly matrixed insurance environment.
