Nango is hiring Senior and Staff Backend Engineers to design, build, and optimize backend systems and APIs, collaborating with customers and driving product strategy.

As a Backend Engineer, you will own end-to-end backend systems, build reliable APIs on Node and AWS, and implement scalable architectures. You will be responsible for high-quality production code delivery, establish best practices, and interface with product teams to enhance financial product performance.

Build end-to-end full-stack product features, integrate smart contract/blockchain calls, design resilient backend systems and indexers, optimize performance, lead QA and mentor junior engineers.

The Technical Solutions Engineer collaborates with the Sales team, leveraging construction scheduling expertise to assist customers in integrating Planera's solutions into their workflow, conducting demos, and leading technical discussions throughout the sales process.

Build and scale client-facing payment tokenization primitives on the VGS platform. Ship iterative, scalable features, set engineering standards, contribute architecture and roadmap, and work directly with customers, vendors, and partners to solve payment tokenization and credential orchestration problems.

Lead design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of mobile and web software. Build APIs and web applications, author documentation, create prototypes, perform code reviews, collaborate with designers and QA, support releases and post-release maintenance, mentor peers, and provide technical input for project estimates and sales.

Founding iOS Engineer to build the app's core intelligence layer. Must implement production CallKit and on-device continuous Speech Framework recognition, integrate with SwiftUI/CoreData, and optionally add Dynamic Island Live Activity via WidgetKit. Design, architect, test, and demonstrate Windchill and ThingWorx solutions for DoD customers. Translate business requirements into technical/process solutions, support integrations, perform testing and debugging, develop documentation, provide end-user training, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and PTC support to deliver PLM/ThingWorx implementations.

Analyze, design, program, test, implement and support application software and system interfaces (notably Epic and lab integrations). Lead projects, train and supervise staff, develop specifications and documentation, evaluate vendor products, coordinate installations, and maintain system improvements and quality assurance.
