As a Backend Engineer, you will own end-to-end backend systems, build reliable APIs on Node and AWS, and implement scalable architectures. Lead foundational components, collaborate with cross-functional and ML teams, support production systems, troubleshoot performance and scalability, and cultivate developer-friendly frameworks and practices to enable large-scale distributed, AI-oriented workloads.

Lead design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of mobile and web software. Build APIs and web applications, author documentation, create prototypes, perform code reviews, collaborate with designers and QA, support releases and post-release maintenance, mentor peers, and provide technical input for project estimates and sales.

Lead technical direction and architecture for a software team, write production code, mentor engineers through reviews and pairing, partner with product to align roadmap and technical plans, resolve technical risk and tech debt, and establish engineering standards and tooling.
