Design, harden, and maintain secure, scalable AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure using Terraform. Harden hosts, manage Linux/Windows VMs and Active Directory, secure CI/CD, support vulnerability management, compliance/audits, incident response, runbooks, and operational troubleshooting for regulated and production environments.

Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Defender-based endpoint security for a DoD customer. Configure EDR/NGAV, WDAC, DLP (Defender+Intune+Purview), integrate with Sentinel/SIEM, manage cross-platform protection, perform vulnerability management, and deliver analytics and reporting while following the systems engineering lifecycle.

Coordinate and drive Application Security programs (Code Freshness, Operational Ownership), lead cross-functional meetings, manage risks/milestones, maintain program documentation, analyze data with SQL/IQL, communicate status to leadership, and implement change management and iterative improvements.

Serve as a senior security operations advisor: lead incident response, tune detection tooling (SIEM/SOAR/XDR/EDR), apply identity-centric and Zero Trust controls, advise product/R&D on secure-by-design, document runbooks and metrics, automate tasks, mentor teammates, and communicate findings across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Lead and perform FedRAMP/FISMA/NIST RMF security assessments for cloud systems. Conduct documentation review, evidence collection, vulnerability scanning and testing, recommend remediations, author reports, lead technical discussions, mentor teammates, and coordinate cross-functional delivery in a fast-paced remote environment.

Own product direction for a code security suite (SAST, SCA, DAST, IaC, secrets, container scanning). Prioritize roadmap and sequencing, make scope tradeoffs, work with design and engineering, run customer/design partner interviews, define competitive bar, coordinate free-tier/Product Hunt launch, track usage metrics, and integrate AI features.
