We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to take significant ownership in building Monte Carlo's cloud application. The role will involve end-to-end development, from helping formulate customer requirements and designs to full production implementation. As the Technical Lead on the Email Delivery team, you will design, develop, maintain, and operate applications that power AWeber's email sending system. You will work with a team of skilled engineers to build and maintain a high-volume transactional email system. You will write APIs and event-driven microservices using Python and frameworks like Tornado and Rejected. Your responsibilities also include deploying applications using Docker and Kubernetes, capturing metrics with tools like Prometheus, statsd, Graphite, and Grafana, and providing technical leadership on new infrastructure and APIs. This role requires a focus on producing secure, well-tested, and maintainable code, coaching junior developers, and owning areas of responsibilities.

Design, develop, and maintain applications for email delivery, mentor team members, build efficient systems for sending emails, deploy applications onto a cloud-based platform, monitor system health, participate in on-call rotation.
