The Associate Director will lead healthcare operations, manage teams, oversee strategic initiatives, and ensure compliance with industry standards while fostering engagement and performance improvements.

Lead identification, investigation, and prevention of healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse. Use claims data and regulations to detect aberrant billing, conduct field investigations and interviews, collect evidence, maintain case records, support settlements and legal proceedings, and collaborate with state/federal partners and regulators.

Provides remote customer service for healthcare providers, health plans, and IPAs. Resolves concerns involving claims, authorizations, and IPA functionality; interprets contracts; documents issues; coordinates follow-up; and communicates timely resolutions. The role also supports surveys, quality and call-volume standards, occasional staff training, and empathetic interactions. Full-time availability for assigned eight-hour shifts, occasional overtime, California residency, HIPAA confidentiality, and secure remote work are required.

On-site mailroom and office services role handling incoming/outgoing mail and packages, processing live checks, scanning and digitizing documents, data entry, archiving, and collaborating with internal teams while following data security and company procedures.

Provide front-line customer service and administrative support in a specialty pharmacy: greet customers, look up orders, operate POS, resolve basic billing issues, manage supplies, coordinate couriers and shipping, and support compliance tasks like temperature monitoring and shipping verification.

Lead major incident and problem management for Optum Care Delivery: respond to P1/P2 incidents, run War Rooms, coordinate vendors and support teams, document timelines and communications, govern PRB and PTASK records, facilitate RCA and closure, and maintain ITSM compliance and continuous process improvement.

Manage production, printing, and mailing of Stop Loss documents; operate Greensboro mailroom and shipments; support print production and proposal binder assembly; train as backup to production staff; coordinate with Stop Loss group and Production Manager to ensure timely distribution and workflow tracking.

Provide Level 2 desktop support for hardware and software on desktops, laptops and tablets both remotely and at walk-up locations. Troubleshoot Windows and Office applications, networking issues (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN), use remote assistance and ticketing tools, investigate non-standard problems, prioritize workload, and leverage enterprise AI tools to streamline support workflows.

Answer inbound calls from healthcare providers to resolve benefit, billing, authorization, and eligibility issues. Navigate complex computer systems to resolve issues on first call, document provider interactions, identify trends, and build positive provider relationships while complying with company policies.
