The role involves integrating emerging technologies across NATO operational domains, conducting research, and developing strategies for decision-making and capability assessment.

Design and implement security architectures, perform security assessments and risk analyses, apply DoD/DoN IA rules, support secure software development, and recommend security solutions across legacy and modern applications. Provide technical guidance on PKI, VPNs, firewalls, IDS, and cloud security while documenting architectures and working with development and operations teams in classified environments.

Lead architecture and design of cybersecurity solutions for federal networks, focusing on hardening systems, reducing attack surface, Zero Trust, cloud and IoT security, A&O, identity and access management, product selection, and guiding senior leaders to mature cybersecurity capabilities.
