Develops and integrates embedded Linux software for aerospace communications and defense systems. Responsibilities include applications, device drivers, libraries, kernel customization, U-Boot bootloaders, board bring-up, Yocto-based distributions, CI/CD, testing, debugging, verification, software deployment, documentation, and hardware/software integration with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Design, develop, integrate, and certify test system software and hardware for ground, airborne, and space systems. Implement test automation, low-level hardware control, and custom interfaces primarily using Python and Ruby. Define requirements, support system architecture, develop within CI/CD and containerized environments, and collaborate across disciplines to meet program technical, cost, and schedule goals.

Develop and own end-to-end full-stack features for a marketing and customer engagement platform using Ruby on Rails and Vue.js. Design APIs, data models, backend services, and customer-facing experiences; improve performance, quality, security, testing, and observability; mentor engineers; contribute to architecture; collaborate with Product, Design, and Customer Success; use AI-assisted development tools; and participate in agile delivery and incident response.

Build and modernize full-stack software for space mission systems, including distributed microservices, cloud-native applications, DevSecOps pipelines, automated testing, and operator interfaces. Integrate and test ground and flight software through emulation, simulation, and interface validation. Collaborate with systems engineers and mission operations teams, provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and support classified DoD and Intelligence Community programs.

Build full-stack applications for space mission systems, modernize legacy ground and flight software, and develop distributed cloud-native systems. Integrate and test space software through simulation, emulation, and interface validation. Implement DevSecOps pipelines, automated testing, and secure practices while creating mission-operator interfaces. Collaborate with systems engineers and operations teams, provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and guide architecture and design decisions across DoD and IC programs.

Design, implement, and support core platform services to enable Recurly to scale. Participate in requirements and solution design, estimate technical impacts, build reliable integrations, deploy to cloud environments, and collaborate cross-functionally. Use Golang and other languages, follow iterative development, and improve business value through maintainable code.
