Own projects end-to-end from design through deployment and maintenance.

Design, build, and maintain Scala-based backend services for evaluation, risk, and trading workloads (real-time auto-liquidation, account state, post-trade). Own end-to-end features, evolve actor-based systems (Akka/Pekko), design Postgres schemas (JSONB), diagnose production incidents, drive code quality, collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor juniors, and contribute to architecture and modernization decisions.

Provide L1 operational support for FCM core processes: triage incidents, runbooks, monitoring and observability, maintain DAGs and event platforms (Kafka, IBM MQ), implement OpenTelemetry, define SLA/SLO/SLIs, and surface resiliency improvements to engineering teams.

The Staff Software Engineer will lead the architecture of the FCM platform, ensuring financial correctness and system integrity, while modernizing systems and improving operational tooling.

Design, evolve, and optimize Scala-based, low-latency trading services. Lead architecture for scalability and performance, tune JVM/Akka systems, enhance observability, ensure security and regulatory compliance, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating cross-functionally to support 24x7 high-volume trading.

Design, implement, and support low-latency exchange connectivity components including market data handlers, order gateways, and reference data processors. Build APIs (REST/WebSocket/event bus), collaborate with OMS/FCM/infrastructure teams, and optimize for high throughput, fault tolerance, and observability in production trading systems.

Serve as the senior technical lead for partner integrations with NinjaTrader APIs. Troubleshoot and resolve complex API and real-time data issues, collaborate with partner engineering and Technical Account Managers, conduct code reviews, build diagnostic tools, set API support quality standards, mentor junior engineers, and translate partner feedback into roadmap improvements.
