Develop and enhance full-stack applications supporting BlackRock’s Alternatives Investments business. Responsibilities include contributing to Java, SQL Server, React, and TypeScript codebases; designing scalable microservices; participating in architecture and code reviews; building reliable components; improving application resiliency; testing software; and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams using Agile practices.

Develop and maintain internal TypeScript services for enterprise resilience, including data feeds, scheduled jobs, dashboards, REST APIs, tests, deployments, and bug fixes. Collaborate with stakeholders and non-technical colleagues while contributing to process automation, reporting, disaster simulation, and agentic AI initiatives. The role may also involve Salesforce development and requires proactive problem solving, workload organization, and effective cross-functional communication.

Contribute to building and modernizing internal database tooling and automation. Assist application teams with schema design and SQL reviews, implement guardrails and observability, and support incident analysis and reliability improvements while working with global platform and DBA teams.

Lead architecture and hands-on development of a scalable, event-driven client reporting platform. Design microservices, high-throughput data systems (SQL/NoSQL/streaming), and resilient APIs; implement observability, automation, and AI/LLM integrations; manage global teams and stakeholders to deliver production-grade reporting and self-service capabilities.
