The GPS Engineer III will develop procedures for servicing products, conduct failure analysis, document procedures for installation and maintenance, and train customer engineers on new products.

Develop and test quality/reliability standards, implement testing procedures, perform failure analysis, and train teams on quality processes.

Manage teams of process engineers to characterize complex hardware, define process specifications, run experiments, resolve high-value customer issues, lead product demonstrations, and drive market-share and strategic execution.

Design, develop, and troubleshoot complex mechanical systems and tooling for semiconductor equipment. Lead engineering projects, create layouts/specs, generate test reports, coordinate procurement and suppliers, and ensure manufacturability and compliance. Serve as a technical expert and communicate solutions to internal and external stakeholders.

Lead and manage district customer engineering team responsible for customer relationships, installations, escalations, account planning, financial forecasting, RMA management, mentoring, and coordination with product divisions to ensure service, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Provide on-site customer support for semiconductor capital equipment: install, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize tool performance. Design experiments (DOEs), analyze data statistically, perform root cause analyses, and liaise between customers and business units. Work across multiple process technologies (CVD, ALD, RIE, PVD, anneal, implant).

Lead internal consulting projects to streamline processes, improve supply chain and operations, reduce costs, and deliver data-driven recommendations to executive leadership. Manage full project lifecycle from analysis through implementation, working cross-functionally and applying advanced analytics, change management, and Lean/Six Sigma methods to drive measurable performance improvement.
