Develop FEMs, run static/modal/fatigue/vibration studies, support test planning and correlation, define loads/materials/margins, and present structural recommendations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize lightweight aerospace structures.

Develop EKF and GNSS/INS integration, multi-sensor fusion for GPS-denied environments, FDIR and integrity monitoring, and V&V test plans. Support certification, requirements allocation, performance analysis, flight test evaluation, and provide technical leadership and mentoring.

Lead propulsion test planning and execution for X-BAT, overseeing engine, hover, static, and integrated propulsion tests. Define test objectives, procedures, hazard analyses, instrumentation, and safety documentation. Provide technical oversight during runs, support root-cause investigations, and collaborate with autonomy, avionics, and instrumentation teams. Support field deployments and test campaigns.

Define and operationalize company-wide engineering design standards for aerospace programs (VBAT, XBAT). Standardize CAD, drawing quality, design/analysis workflows, documentation, EBOM/MBOM handoffs, and configuration management. Partner with engineering leaders to scale engineering excellence, influence cross-discipline design decisions, and improve consistency without blocking execution.

Lead and grow the mechanical engineering team for avionics in X-BAT aircraft and ground vehicles. Own architecture, thermal, harnessing, and electro-mechanical design from concept through manufacturing, partnering with electrical, RF, PCB, reliability, supply chain, structures, and manufacturing teams to deliver flight-critical systems.

Build and deploy Foundry-backed full-stack applications to support manufacturing, supply chain, fleet sustainment, and operations. Deliver end-to-end features using React and TypeScript, backend services and APIs, and large-scale data workflows. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, iterate on feedback, and influence architecture and Foundry development best practices.

Serve as the mission-systems SME for V-BAT fleet support, lead escalated investigations into payloads, transponders, and external interfaces, troubleshoot hardware/software/networking interoperability, support lab validation and field demonstrations, and produce customer-facing technical documentation and lessons learned.
