The Field Service Engineer provides on-site automotive and computer technical support, diagnosing issues, and maintaining dealership relationships to reduce vehicle repurchases and warranty claims.

Develop, calibrate, and maintain multi-physics electrochemical, thermal, mechanical, and safety models for battery cells and packs. Implement models using COMSOL, MATLAB/Simulink, SABER, Python, and PyBaMM; incorporate aging, performance variation, and thermal behavior. Deliver documented models for vehicle co-simulation, state estimation, controls support, and warranty analysis.

Lead development and improvement of manufacturing controls across programs. Oversee controls and robotics design, equipment integration, troubleshooting, and plant installations. Mentor junior engineers, manage controls project deliverables, and drive launch readiness using PLCs, robotics, HMIs, vision systems, and industrial networks.

Provide plant-floor controls engineering support: program and troubleshoot PLCs/HMIs/robots, resolve production breakdowns, lead small-to-medium projects, implement continuous improvement, manage drawings/prints, spare parts, SOPs, and train maintenance/production teams to meet safety, quality, responsiveness, and cost metrics.

Design, build, operate, and own scalable backend services and APIs for internal and customer-facing applications. Improve performance, observability, security, and reliability; lead architecture and API standards; troubleshoot production issues; support CI/CD and automation; mentor engineers and drive backend best practices across teams.

Define and optimize design and validation requirements for inverters and high-voltage bus; predict losses, heat rejection, ripple, and resonances; assess control strategy and design-change impacts; perform HTD, PTC, and ripple rejection analysis; support power electronics through concept to production; provide technical leadership and supplier assessment; pursue cost, size, and efficiency improvements.

Define, design, analyze, develop and test electric drives (inverters, motors, power electronics) and integrate them into vehicle propulsion systems. Create component/subsystem requirements, lead trade studies, support DFMEA, collaborate across engineering, cost, planning and program teams, and support advanced technology development and testing through early program phases.

The Electric Drive Lab System Integration Engineer leads lab-software operations for testing centralized computing modules and power electronics, developing software and managing lab equipment.

Develop and integrate vehicle-level infotainment software, diagnose and fix defects, perform design changes, and run integration/verification tests. Collaborate across teams to meet milestones and enhance existing software capabilities.

Lead development and integration of vehicle displays (ICS, IPC, HVAC, FPI). Create requirements, manage technical specs, drive cross-functional alignment, support validation, troubleshoot launch issues, and lead supplier and PDT activities to meet cost, quality, and timing targets.
