The Systems Engineer supports U.S. Navy weapon systems by ensuring compatibility through managing electrical interface requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and processing changes to meet project goals.

The Principal BIT Engineer designs and develops Built-in Test architecture, oversees testing activities, and supports product development in Electronic Warfare systems.

The engineer will support modeling tools for performance analysis, develop new algorithms, document results, and present findings, contributing to project milestones and collaboration.

Lead design, architecture, integration, verification, and validation of high-power, safety-critical propulsion battery systems for aircraft. Define hardware/software interfaces, produce engineering documentation, perform system integration, and develop/validate SOC/SOH/SOE models.

On-call rotation and incident/problem management required.

Serve as engineering authority for USAF avionics and electronic warfare sustainment programs. Establish engineering governance, lead technical reviews and product certifications, develop technical roadmaps, close skill gaps, support business development, and coordinate cross-functional and external engineering interfaces to ensure operationally viable, secure, and financially sound solutions.

Co-op role supporting mechanical hardware engineering for ground and airborne navigation products. Create CAD models and mechanical design artifacts, capture technical requirements, support integration/verification testing in military-grade environments, generate design documentation, assist manufacturing transition, and collaborate with electrical, software, systems, and test engineers.

Develop and maintain software test and integration infrastructure for tactical embedded systems. Perform full software lifecycle activities: requirements, architecture, design, coding, test, integration, documentation, and support. Integrate test equipment, automate test suites, work with containerized deployments, interact with FPGAs, and validate system-level requirements in an on-site defense environment requiring active TS/SCI clearance.

Develop and maintain software test capabilities and integration infrastructure for embedded and tactical systems. Perform full software lifecycle tasks—requirements, architecture, design, coding, testing, integration, documentation—and integrate test equipment and frameworks (gtest, HIL). Work on containerized deployments, FPGA interaction, and multi-layer software stacks (DSP, embedded, applications). Collaborate across engineering teams and support on-site operations.

Perform electrical board and component reliability engineering for spaceflight systems, including WCCA/WCTA, parts stress/derating, FMEA/FMECA, reliability predictions, LLA, FRACAS, root-cause investigations, and report writing. Interface with cross-functional teams, use PLM/Windchill, SPICE and mathematical tools (Mathcad/MATLAB) for analyses, participate in reviews and present results at program milestones.
