The role also includes technical design, documentation, troubleshooting, project estimation, progress reporting, and compliance with information security requirements.

Develop and maintain middleware platforms for the myQ residential and commercial products. Translate product requirements into technical designs, lead Agile development and offshore teams, manage codebase changes and technical debt, ensure coding standards and security compliance, and collaborate with product, architecture, infrastructure, database, QA, and firmware teams. Mentor engineers, participate in technical reviews, troubleshoot issues, document solutions, and support project estimation and progress reporting.

Architects and builds scalable, secure, fault-tolerant AWS infrastructure and leads Infrastructure-as-Code implementation with Terraform. Drives Kubernetes GitOps using Argo CD, develops Datadog observability, manages network security, and defines reliability objectives. The role automates incident response, supports capacity and cost optimization, influences cloud strategy, and mentors SRE and DevOps teams. It collaborates with engineering, product, and security teams to improve operational excellence across global cloud-based IoT platforms.
