Lead Datadog’s DRUIDS design systems team, setting strategy, roadmap, ownership, and quality standards. Manage designers and design engineers, coach and hire team members, oversee design-system tooling and workflows, and partner with product designers, engineers, and PMs. Maintain hands-on involvement in product design, front-end code, component quality, and emerging AI-assisted design and development practices.

Lead the evolution of Datadog's visual identity by creating bold concepts and building a scalable Figma-native brand system. Design templates, component libraries, documentation, and governance; partner with cross-functional teams; mentor designers; present concepts to stakeholders; and embed AI-assisted workflows to scale brand production and consistency across touchpoints.

Lead end-to-end product design for APM and observability workflows: partner with PMs and engineers, prototype and validate solutions (including AI-assisted and code-aware tooling), conduct research, mentor designers, and influence cross-functional product strategy to improve debugging, instrumentation, and performance investigation for complex distributed systems.

Lead and execute a new visual direction for a complex, data-dense product. Translate visual principles into hierarchy, layout, navigation, interaction, and system patterns. Prototype, test, and refine patterns, partner with Product Design, Design Systems, and Engineering to systemize and implement them. Influence stakeholders, maintain visual quality across teams, and produce artifacts and narratives that drive adoption and raise product craftsmanship.
