As a Founding Engineer, you'll design and build the core infrastructure for an AI-driven procurement platform, implementing advanced data solutions and ensuring security compliance.

Administer, architect, develop, and govern enterprise ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITAM, SPM, ITOM, GRC, App Engine, and AI automation. Responsibilities include platform upgrades, patching, custom scripting, REST/SOAP integrations, troubleshooting, requirements validation, customer implementations, and stakeholder communication.

Requires cross-functional project leadership and travel of 25–50%.

Build and own production-grade internal applications, dashboards, automations, AI agents, integrations, and infrastructure-enabled systems. Partner with Operations, Product, Data, and Engineering to translate business problems into scalable solutions, prototype new products, review AI-assisted code, and ensure reliability, performance, maintainability, and technical quality. The role requires independent end-to-end delivery, architectural judgment, cross-functional collaboration, and accountability in an ambiguous, high-autonomy environment.

Design and program building automation control systems, develop graphics, analyze mechanical and electrical system performance, and manage system startup and commissioning. The engineer maintains field-change and as-built documentation, trains owners, interfaces with customers, and manages subcontractors, suppliers, schedules, budgets, and project finances. The role requires PLC knowledge, programming, troubleshooting, electrical understanding, mechanical building systems experience, and routine jobsite visits of up to 50% of working hours.

Prepare accurate 2D drawings and 3D models from sketches; verify dimensions, materials, and assembly relationships; apply manufacturing and engineering principles; execute ECOs/ECNs; produce schematics, charts, and BOM-supporting documentation using CAD tools; ensure ISO-compliant document control and configuration management; research components to meet design constraints.

Serves as the owner-side technical authority for hyperscale data center infrastructure, overseeing MEP systems, design standards, vendor qualification, construction compliance, commissioning, and turnover. Reviews designs, resolves technical issues, verifies field installations, manages nonconformances, and ensures reliability, redundancy, maintainability, and operability. Coordinates engineering subject matter experts, consultants, integrators, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams in a matrix environment. Maintains the basis of design and drives equipment standardization, vendor-capacity tracking, and technical roadmap development.

Designs and optimizes material flow, equipment layouts, production sequencing, and automation across sawmill and engineered wood facilities. Conducts bottleneck analysis, time studies, OEE analysis, capacity modeling, and lean improvement initiatives. Partners with production, maintenance, and capital projects teams on equipment installations, mill reconfigurations, modernization, commissioning, and documentation. Requires hands-on mill-floor work and extensive wood products manufacturing experience.
