Owns the platform’s technical direction by designing scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures. Partners with Product, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver maintainable systems supporting clinical and operational workflows.

Designs and governs primarily Oracle Cloud architectures, with support for AWS, Azure, and GCP multi-cloud initiatives. Translates business and technical requirements into scalable, secure hybrid-cloud solutions; develops standards, frameworks, governance models, and architecture documentation. Guides engineering teams and supports migration initiatives involving on-premises infrastructure. Responsibilities include cloud networking, DevOps automation, security, FinOps, monitoring, disaster recovery, database platforms, configuration, patching, backups, and observability.

Design, program, configure, troubleshoot, integrate, and commission industrial automation, PLC, HMI, SCADA, instrumentation, and safety systems. Support LOPA and functional safety reviews, SIS applications, FATs, SATs, startup, brownfield and greenfield projects, and client-site troubleshooting across Gulf Coast facilities. Collaborate with operations, maintenance, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to improve reliability, safety, efficiency, and performance.

Learns and practices fire protection system design under experienced designers, including interpreting architectural drawings, site surveys, water data, codes, and NFPA standards. Supports accurate design work, asks questions to build technical knowledge, follows safety and risk-management procedures, and communicates effectively with project teams and site personnel.

Coordinates overnight patching for Windows and Linux server environments, including planning, scheduling, execution, validation, compliance reporting, and remediation. Monitors customer and internal systems, responds to incidents, troubleshoots virtual infrastructure, networks, backups, and server platforms, and performs scheduled maintenance such as reboots, provisioning, firmware updates, and DNS changes. The role also manages Active Directory, handles service requests, documents shift handoffs, communicates with customers, and escalates unresolved issues.

Develops and manages configuration management plans, technical baselines, change-control processes, and configuration tracking artifacts. Facilitates Engineering Review Boards and Configuration Control Boards, supports functional and physical configuration audits, maintains technical baseline repositories, delivers CM training, and provides guidance to stakeholders. The role requires collaboration with program managers, engineers, government personnel, and cross-functional teams in federal and DoD environments.
