The Sr. Security Engineer will design advanced DLP solutions, implement AI data classification, and create protection standards for sensitive IP within the organization.

Serve as Micron's senior GRC and cyber resilience leader for Japan, driving adoption of governance, cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, audit, and regulatory programs. Liaise between global GRC and regional stakeholders, lead audits and risk assessments, manage remediation, develop executive reporting and dashboards, and champion AI-enabled automation for assessments and evidence management. Represent the region to customers, regulators, and auditors while ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and local regulatory/cultural requirements.

Intern will support Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) activities, including compliance initiatives, risk assessments, documentation, and automation tasks under guidance.

Define and implement security test strategies for SSD firmware. Design and run grey-box and white-box tests, perform root-cause analysis on security failures, drive test automation and regression integration, collaborate on secure design reviews with firmware teams, and mentor junior engineers.

As a Lead GRC Engineer, you will manage governance security programs, ensuring compliance and audit readiness while leading AI automation initiatives and coaching junior staff.

Design and implement a fuzzing framework for storage protocols (e.g., NVMe/UFS). Study protocol specs, identify fuzzing surfaces, build parsers and test harnesses, integrate with fuzzers, automate execution and crash triage, analyze results, document findings, and present outcomes to the team.
