Senior Structured Data Access Control Process Analyst

The Senior Structured Data Access Control Process Analyst will play an important role in supporting Micron's Structured Data Access Control (sDAC) program and related data governance initiatives. This role analyzes business processes, identifies opportunities for automation and efficiency, develops reporting and dashboard solutions, supports operational workloads, and contributes to projects that strengthen secure and compliant access to enterprise structured data.
The successful candidate will combine strong analytical thinking with process improvement, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and project execution skills. Working closely with technical and business teams, they will transform complex governance processes into actionable insights and help drive continuous improvements across access management and governance workflows.
This position supports both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives, helping advance governance modernization, workflow automation, and user experience improvements across the organization.
Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Structured Data Access Control (SDAC) process and related governance workflows along with the knowledge of Role Based Access Control (RBAC) and data security management for integration.
• Define, document and improve business processes, requirements, workflows, operating procedures, governance standards, user guidance, training material and communications.
• Identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, automation, and efficiency improvements.
• Leveraging AI powered tools and other technologies to improve analysis, research, and productivity.
• Serve as a project contributor, feature owner, or workstream lead for governance initiatives. Includes tracking and communicating project status, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and key milestones.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions to understand business needs, gather requirements, and address process challenges.
• Facilitate partnerships with developers to define business requirements and acceptance criteria. Participate in requirements gathering, planning, testing, deployment, change management, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validation activities.
• Collaborate with BISOs, architects, DBAs, developers, governance teams, and business stakeholders.
• Support user adoption efforts and partner with governance and security teams on RBAC-related initiatives.
• Perform deep data analysis to detect patterns and drive to results. Along with developing data-driven recommendations to improve service quality, cycle time, operational effectiveness, and user experience. Monitor service levels and operational health.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI, ServiceNow, and governance reporting solutions, dashboards, and operational metrics.
• Analyze trends, bottlenecks, Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance, and operational health metrics to provide actionable insights, create executive-ready reporting and present to leadership and stakeholder on governance recommendation.
• Support operational ticket queues, governance workflows, and triage and resolution of access request review along with assisting users and stakeholders with governance-related inquiries.
• Support audit, certification, and compliance activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Business Data Analytics, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in business analysis, governance, operations, analytics, or process improvement.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, developing reports, dashboards, and metrics using Power BI, ServiceNow and the Microsoft 365 suites.

• Self-motivated, organized, and highly capable of carrying out detailed plans with limited direction.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative and inclusive with a positive attitude, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams across geographical and organizational cultures and to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting data governance, access management, and IAM governance programs, with familiarity in RBAC concepts.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) or Oracle Database role and direct access permissions.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies. PMP, Scrum, Agile, or Business Analysis certifications are a plus.

• Experience with ServiceNow workflow design and automation, Microsoft 365 collaboration tools (SharePoint, Planner, Power Automate), and Power BI data modeling and advanced visualization techniques.
