Own and evolve Navan’s production runtime for AI agents, including orchestration, tool calling, streaming, state management, provider routing, reliability, observability, and scalability. Design resilient distributed-system capabilities, investigate complex production incidents, improve testing and fault tolerance, and build reusable APIs for agent developers. Collaborate across engineering, infrastructure, product, and AI teams while mentoring engineers and establishing best practices for reliable production AI systems.

Lead internal AI adoption by treating AI platforms as products, building training and community programs, mentoring AI Champions, and partnering with business units to rapidly prototype and launch AI POCs while maintaining governance and continuous improvement.

Build and maintain AI-powered integrations and agents connecting business systems (Salesforce, Gong, Snowflake, Slack, NetSuite) using Workato and Python. Implement agents to enrich data, monitor deal health, track competitive mentions, and expose safe connectors to LLMs. Integrate with REST/SOAP APIs, apply ETL and data modeling, write SQL for analysis and debugging, productionize LLM POCs, and document integrations and data contracts.
