Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Zuora Implementation Contractor to support our enterprise clients. This role will be responsible for delivering end-to-end billing transformation projects, including solution design, configuration, integration, testing, and deployment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Zuora Billing and Revenue modules and a strong understanding of subscription-based business models.
Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement & Discovery
- Lead discovery sessions to gather business requirements and assess current billing processes.
- Translate client needs into scalable Zuora configurations and workflows.
- Solution Design & Configuration
- Design and configure Zuora modules (Billing, Payments, Product Catalog, Revenue Recognition).
- Develop custom invoice templates, dunning processes, and usage-based pricing models.
- Implement account hierarchies and parent-child billing relationships.
- Integration & Data Migration
- Integrate Zuora with external systems (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, ERP, payment gateways).
- Support historical data migration for accounts, contracts, and open AR.
- Testing & Deployment
- Support customer led test plans (unit, SIT, UAT).
- Provide hypercare support post go-live and resolve production issues.
- Training & Documentation
- Deliver client training sessions and create user documentation.
- Support change management and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications:
- Experience in billing system implementations, with focus on Zuora.
- Strong understanding of subscription billing, revenue recognition, and SaaS business models.
- Experience with Zuora APIs, workflows, and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with middleware platforms (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft) and CRM/ERP integrations.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Nice to Have:
- Zuora Certified Billing or Revenue Consultant.
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- Prior consulting experience with SaaS Billing or similar tools is a plus.
