As an Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and expanding Zuora subscription billing and payment solutions and will bring a solid understanding of the Zuora Billing application and APIs, as well as experience integrating Zuora with other systems. In this role, you will collaborate with Product managers, Zuora internal technical resources, and other engineering teams in the R&D organization to design and deliver scalable technical solutions that meet growing business needs.

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives related to Zuora Subscription Billing and Zuora Payment Develop and configure Zuora’s Product Catalog, including rate plans and pricing models, to meet business needs and support billing processes
  • Ensure the security and integrity of Zuora’s environment by implementing best practices and security measures
  • Experience with customizing Zuora using the Zuora API and ZOQL
  • Design and implement payment solutions using payment methods like Credit Card, Alternate Payment Methods (APMs), ACH, Direct Debit, etc.
  • Understand Payment Gateways, Country Specific requirements, Refund, Chargeback, Cancellation, and Network Tokenization
  • Configure and manage notifications within Zuora to keep partners, both internal and external, informed of key events and updates
  • Customize and design invoice templates in Zuora to align with branding guidelines and meet customer requirements
  • Provide guidance on billing processes and best practices, using domain knowledge to drive optimal solutionsAbility to lead business discussions with customers, discover requirement, frame a problem statement, lead solution workshops and deliver a Technical solution

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • Experience with Zuora development, including Product Catalog, workflows, Security, Notifications, and Invoice Templates
  • Experience in translating requirements into technical specifications and solution design
  • Experience in requirements gathering, use cases documentation, business analysis, systems design and integration, user interface design and implementation
  • Experience in data analysis, conversion and migration, interfaces and reports
  • Experience with customizing Zuora using the Zuora API and ZOQL
  • Lead and implemented Zuora Billing for 1 or more companies
  • 5+ years of experience with Zuora Billing

  • Knowledge of Zuora RevPro
