- Develop and implement sales strategies for the South zones in alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the regional sales teams (Area Sales Managers & Territory Executives).
- Drive achievement of sales targets across geographies and product lines.
- Uphold compliance and ethical standards across sales practices.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including ophthalmologists, hospital procurement teams, and distributors.
- Identify new market opportunities and drive expansion into untapped geographies.
- Monitor competitive activity and market trends; provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with marketing, service, and product teams to ensure customer success.
- Ensure timely reporting, forecasting, and analysis to management. Uphold compliance and ethical standards across sales practices.
- Proven experience in medical device sales (preferably ophthalmology).
- Hands-on experience with CRM for sales tracking and funnel management.
- Understanding of clinical workflows and buying cycles in healthcare.
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and business planning.
- Ability to use data to drive decisions and optimize team performance.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Skills Required
- 8–10 years of relevant sales experience in the medical device industry
- At least 2 years of experience managing sales teams
- Proven experience in medical device sales, preferably ophthalmology
- Hands-on experience with CRM for sales tracking and funnel management
- Understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare buying cycles
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and business planning
- Bachelor’s degree
