What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute high-quality test plans to validate requirements.
- Lead activities to develop and run manual and automated tests to ensure product quality and prevent regressive issues.
- Perform various types of testing, including regression, sanity, functional, exploratory, integration, and system testing.
- Conduct tests before changes are released for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and conduct manual and automated tests post-release.
- Provide effective communication regarding issues, objectives, and initiatives, and share regular status reports with all stakeholders.
- Escalate and follow up in a timely manner about all blocking issues.
- Log bugs and errors to development teams.
- Continually improve test processes and practices based on inspection and adaptation of previous iterations.
- Proactively seek ways to incorporate new/creative ideas and methodologies into testing efforts.
- Generate test reports and dashboards for management communication as needed.
What we seek in you:
- 5+ years of Applications and Platform QA experience.
- At least 3+ years of experience as Zendesk QA.
- Experience in testing Zendesk Applications, Help Centers, and Zendesk data.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience in writing test plans, test automation, and test cases.
- Experience in any Open Source Automation Tools is a plus.
